French songbird and multi-instrumentalist Tiphanie Doucet’s dreamy and compelling vocals will take you on a glorious journey through tender emotions in a folky, euphoric landscape with a sensual french twist. Fans of Norah Jones, Ingrid Michaelson, Feist, Lou Reed, and the latest work of Taylor Swift will have their hearts stolen by Tiphanie’s earnest lyrics and calming, yet majestic take on alternative-tinged folk-pop.
Beginning her career as a talented dancer and actress, graduating from the renowned Ballet Conservatory in Paris, Tiphanie had her first starring role as a child, in the French film Le Bebe d’Elsa and later the lead role in Glee-like French TV Series Chante, giving her popularity in her native France. She also toured professionally with Romeo And Juliet and Hair and was a back-up dancer for David Guetta and Prince, taking her to huge stadiums including the Stade de France. Focusing on her love of music, Doucet learned to play the harp, piano, and guitar and transitioned into a music career, eventually traveling to Los Angeles and New York where she now resides. In 2020 Tiphanie performed on the Canadian Voice where she was praised by the judges for her compelling, beautiful voice and faultless emotional performances before they regretfully lost her to the brutality of the battle rounds.
After the critically acclaimed success of her 2018 LP Under my Sun, produced by Simone Felice and David Baron (Lumineers, Jade Bird), was dubbed as “A richly poignant and pastoral journey that reveals Doucet as a master of the style," by Pop Matters, Doucet is set to release her latest EP Painted Blue, with lead single You & I. Recorded in Catskills New York and finished in her hometown Paris, Doucet's five-track offering takes us on a chimeral and introspective journey and features her adored, seductive vocals on a landscape of songs painted with her soul. An evolution from her previously more acoustic soundscape, Painted Blue introduces an intimate mix of haunting, electronic tones, artfully woven through her adored lullaby magic.

"You and I" is the musical equivalent of a ying-yang, the elements of rock from the drums
and electric guitar give a gritty hard edge skillfully representative of Tiphanie’s resilient nature
Vasco Dega, Fame Magazine

Tiphanie Doucet's "You and I" Is an Exercise in Pastoral Poignancy (premiere).
she sings with a compelling blend of poignant yearning and sovereign strength—complemented by lovely harmonies, of course—that evokes Norah Jones, Feist, and Eisley.

Doucet’s dreamy vocal quality is markedly distinct, especially in how she tenderly incorporates
it into her music to tell stories unique to her own outlook and experiences.”
Jonathan Frahm, For Folk's Sake
“French songbird Tiphanie Doucet has completely stolen our hearts with her latest single “Under My Sun.”
